So ... the owner is awesome! A very hard-working, very good cooking and friendly person! Even though it was a day off, I got a room and dinner. And that tasted good ... Then a little snack with her and friends / guests present. Was fun. The room huge and clean. The motorcycle was safe in the courtyard. The location is noted :)

Live like a mother's at home. Without the friendly landlady we would have been lost in Corona times. So we had accommodation and food on our business trip. Warm, uncomplicated and flexible. The landlady is very responsive to the individual wishes of the guests. Rooms are no longer very modern, but spacious and very clean. House has the charm of a bygone world. We wish all the best for the difficult time ahead!

Unfortunately, the service was very unmotivated and unsatisfactory. We ate here on a Friday evening and it was very little busy, so it couldn't have been the stress. The food was very tasty but you don't get much of it if the service is bad. I found the prices slightly overpriced, if the service is top they would be acceptable.

The well-known inn in the vicinity of Kiel is a hospitable place! In the cozy restaurant with a fireplace, you can get not only good food, for example from local forests and lakes, but also original classics of Polish cuisine, which you should definitely try! Very friendly service, pleasant audience.

We ate there. Mussels as a starter, then beef fillet. It was very delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. The only flaw for us was the carpeting. That should be renewed.

We book a room here several times a year for a stay of several days in beautiful Schleswig Holstein. Here the Beckmann's Gasthof plays its good location into the cards. You can reach the state capital of Kiel and the city of Rendsburg by car in about 20 minutes. A train station can also be reached on foot in 5 minutes. All this, in combination with the very friendly, attentive and communicative service staff of the house and the good breakfast, always make your stay very pleasant. We would love to come back and best regards to the team.

Great classic ambience with a fireplace. Very good wine list, great menu, regional products in top quality always freshly prepared. Flexible kitchen for special requests. Since I am a restaurateur myself, I would like to say a short comment to everyone about the longer waiting times: if, like Beckmanns, the dishes are freshly prepared a la minute, a longer waiting time is more an expression of fresh and high-quality cooking in a well-stocked restaurant rather positive and a quality feature as a reason for negative reviews. I love being a guest there ... in the hotel and in the restaurant. The hotel does not lack what you need for an overnight stay. The food in the restaurant is super tasty, everyone is very nice and friendly. When I am nearby I always like to be a guest. :)

Very nice restaurant with good food and successful interior design. We were recently there with 3 people. Everyone had ordered something different so that we could compare the dishes very well. All dishes were excellent, the potato dumplings very good and the sauce for fresh roast .... a dream come true .... The sour meat was lean and tender, the fried potatoes were crispy but not fatty, the roulade was also very good. The portions are completely sufficient, the price-performance ratio is right. The service was attentive and quick. I think it's very nice that you can finally get braised dishes in a restaurant and not just fried dishes. The loving design of the dining room is also particularly appealing. Highly recommended!

Very cozy atmosphere with quaint decor. Goose eating disappointing. Waiting more than 1h, meat was dry and tough and lacked in taste. The associated price therefore not justified. Overall, no recommendation.

The rooms are functional and clean. There is free Wi-Fi and a sufficient breakfast. Everything is hosted by a very friendly owner. All in all, the price for the performance is fine and recommended.

We were with a group of about 70 people in the inn. Although we had to wait for an hour for the meal despite the reservation, but all 70 dishes were fresh and hot. My Schnitzel Viennese style was very nice flat, as it should be, and huge. There was also a salad, the completely on the typical leafy lettuce, such as endives, has omitted and was provided with a delicious dressing, which there was a bit too much. The schnitzel was really delicious. The steakhouse fries, which were there, were not quite my case, but the inn was not much. The quality of the food was also everyone else from the group satisfied. Only those who had a salad plate were not really satisfied. The salad did not even have bread as a side dish and the portion was relatively small. Especially compared to the other dishes. For all guests, however, there was bread with quark, cream cheese and rocket cream spread as a starter. The service was very friendly and, although the store was also well attended, always present. I would advise against the salad plate, but otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant. Especially after a canoe trip, which can be started from the only 200 meters away canoe rental.

Incredibly good food and very friendly (and chatty) host. Appropriately priced, and great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Decent fish restaurant in Achterwehr. Nice service. Fish good but not cooked perfectly. Delicious asparagus.
